The Office of Cultural Engagement actively participates in and interacts with various cultures and communities throughout the state. The divisions of our office helps people understand and appreciate the different traditions, values, and customs of North Carolinians. They also help people connect with others and respond to local, state, and national topics.

The Office of Program Outreach and Engagement is committed to providing an environment that fosters and celebrates our distinctions. The office strives to enhance community understanding, improve program outreach, and create an engaged workforce. Our goal is to promote opportunities among our employees and our programming to be open to our state’s population and history by expanding partnership and outreach.
