Timothy A. Minch, Lenoir Community College grounds coordinator and former Tryon Palace greenhouse manager, will be the guest speaker during Tryon Palace's next Garden Lecture Series held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, in Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center. This free program will include a discussion about camellias and the Southern garden.
After Minch's lecture, members of the Twin Rivers Camellia Club will be outside Cullman Hall to answer any questions about camellia care, planting, insects and diseases.
The Tryon Palace Garden Lecture Series is held monthly inside Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center in downtown New Bern.
