The North Carolina Historical Commission will meet via conference call Thur., Sept. 3 at 1 p.m.
During the meeting, the commission plans to formally accept the final report of a feasibility study for the proposed state textile regional museum; consider a request from the N.C. Department of Administration for direction regarding the future status of monuments recently removed from State Capitol grounds; review a list of items recommended to be added into or removed from the collections of the divisions of State History Museums and State Historic Sites; and hear reports from division directors.
