You’ll explore exhibits on Scruggs’ influence on bluegrass and country music, along with a deep dive into the culture and history of the region.

MIDDAY
North Carolina Musicians Mural Trail Head to Uptown Shelby and check out two larger-than-life tributes to legends Earl Scruggs and Don Gibson. These incredible works by artist Scott Nurkin are both part of the North Carolina Musicians Mural Trail. Take a stroll around Uptown Shelby to enjoy lunch and local shopping. After lunch, get in a little extra walking on the Rail Trail Boardwalk.

Don Gibson Theatre Further explore the legacy of local music icon Don Gibson at the Don Gibson Theatre.
