Screenings of Polar Express, music, dancing and a visit by Santa Claus were just part of the fun at the Museum of the Albemarle’s Holiday Open last week. Sec. Kluttz joined Elizabeth City Mayor Joe Peel to see the North Pole come alive at the museum.

Visitors got to see a train display provided by the Albemarle Railroad Club, enjoy Polar Express-themed refreshments, go on carriage and pony rides and see a performance by Tryon Palace’s ever popular Jonkonnu troupe among many other activities.
