Amanda Richardson

Amanda Richardson serves as Chief Information Officer serving DNCR.  Amanda has worked with DNCR/DIT for over five years and previously served as DNCR Business Solutions Director.  She has extensive education and experience in business solutions, PCI Compliance, Finance and Information Technology. 

Overall, Amanda has more than 20 years of experience within the public and private sectors.  Prior to her joining DNCR/DIT, she managed governmental funds for North Carolina State University for 12.5 years.  She began her career managing financials for a Fortune 500 company. Over the last ten years, Amanda has been heavily involved with credit card security and PCI-DSS compliance efforts for the state.  

North Carolina has always been her home and she is passionate about serving her state.  She earned a B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Governmental Chief Information Officer.
