Anne Evangelista

Anne Evangelista is our new Legislative Affairs Director. She served in Governor Cooper’s office as Associate General Counsel for the past two years and previously served as Investigative Counsel for the N.C. General Assembly. Anne began her career as an attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina, where she worked with survivors of domestic violence. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Elon University School of Law. Assistant Secretary for Government Affairs Deans Eatman will continue to work on legislative issues, in addition to taking on additional administrative responsibilities.
